Combat Fitness is a mixed martial arts and fitness workshop FOR MEN of all ages and all fitness levels. These classes are high intensity, sweat inducing and calorie burning workouts that will help you achieve the fitness level and looks that you want! Expect to build lean muscle, burn fat and get results with this workout that mixes in boxing bag training as well as working out with focus pads, plyometrics, strength conditioning and flexibility training. The Combat Fitness classes are designed for all skill and fitness levels. Unlike traditional and moderate paced aerobic classes, our combat fitness program is ever dynamic, changing and moving. You’ll learn and practice authentic combat techniques and striking combinations while burning calories. The instruction will focus on gaining skill, building speed, stamina, and agility. Classes run for 60 minutes with specific rest times. Want to do cross training like a martial artist? Here is your chance!
Your Combat Fitness instructor will be the multiple karate champion of Iceland and of the Nordic countries – Sensei Halldór Svavarsson, a black belt in karate. Sensei Halldór is a highly experienced martial artist both as a fierce competitor and a skillful instructor. He is also a prior head coach of the Icelandic National Karate team. This is your chance to train with the best of the best. No prior experience in combat training is required to attend the workshop.
